Special Part of Criminal Law
• Special part discusses the various crimes • It deals with special provisions to each crime • The Iraqi Panel Code distinguishes two types of offences (crimes) which are: 1. Offences of a Public Nature which includes: a) Offences against the external safety of the state b) Offences against the internal safety of the state which include for example: 1. Insurrection 2. unlawful assemblies 3. dangerous publications c) Offences by or relating to public servants such as: 1. Corruption 2. misappropriation 3. misuse of official position 4.dereliction of duty 5. acts of oppression
