Criminal Law
• The general part of the law deals with: 1. Classification of crimes (into crimes, misdemeanors and contravention) 2. Penalties (imprisonment, fine, death penalty “Capital punishment”, forfeiture of privileges, police supervision, confiscation of property) 3. kinds of penalties (consecutive and concurrent) 4. Criminal responsibility exculpatory circumstances (insanity, involuntary intoxication, self defense, good faith and legal right)
